E W is an American-born-French Canadian author who has spent the majority of his life pursuing his love for movies. He often teases, “I’ve had more screenplays tossed into studio trash cans than most screenwriters will ever write!” He credits (or blames) his touchstone, renowned Hollywood screenwriter Daniel Pyne, who once told him, “If you love writing as much as you say you do, so much so that you’d keep at it even if you never sold a single story, then you should be a screenwriter.” And so he has been for over forty years. His portfolio of scripts is impressive and includes options from some of America's great authors which include, Walter D. Edmonds, and William Alexander Silverman. He's taught numerous screenwriting courses, and his free course on Udemy on How to Write a Screenplay in 3 Days has a committed following.

In 2023, E W turned his eye from screenplays to novels and he wrote the Hunger of a Nation, a gastronomical tale based on his love for food, experience as a trained chef, and love of twelfth-century history.

 

In 2024 he went on to write, To Know You, and My Name is Nobody all within a nine month period. His fourth novel, The Butler's Guide to Love and Other Social Graces, is due late 2025.

 

E W is founder and executive director of Help World Tour, a non-profit corporation geared towards helping those less fortunate around the world. He is also founder and executive director of Way Out West Media Entertainment Group, a boutique film company he started with his two sons.
